Day by Day itinerary

Day 1: Arrival / Athens

Arrival at the airport and meeting with the agency’s assistance. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Lodging.

Day 2:City Tour / Athens

Breakfast and departure by coach to visit the most famous monuments of Athens. During the tour we pass by the Parliament with the monument of the Unknown Soldier, Syntagma Square, the Neoclassical Trilogy, Omonia Square, the 19th century Parliament, the Catholic Cathedral, the Roman Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch and stop for photos at the famous Olympic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Visit of the Acropolis with the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon and the Erechtheon. Free time to explore the old town Plaka. Overnight.

Day 3:Cruise to Aegina, Poros & Hydra / Athens

Breakfast and depart for the one day cruise visiting 3 Greek islands. First island, Hydra. The island of painters and photographers dream. One of the most cosmopolitan islands, the favorite of the international jet-set. Unique architecture, transparent waters, famous jewelry and folk art objects, donkeys – the only means of transportation allowed on the island. Our next destination is the green island of Poros with its pine trees, lemon trees, narrow streets and bell tower. Finally, Aegina, with its rich history, its beautiful landscape with the famous pistachio bushes. Here we can visit the Byzantine church of St. Nectarios, where the silver decorated urn with the bones of the saint is located. You can participate in an optional visit to the Doric temple of Aphaea, the best preserved ancient temple in Greece, with its wonderful views of the sea. Lunch on board (included) and the opportunity to learn traditional dances and enjoy a folkloric show. Return to our hotel.

Day 4:Free day / Athens

Breakfast and free day to explore the city on your own. A stroll along Ermu Street for shopping, or explore Plaka, Monastiraki and Thision are some of your options for the day. Alternatively, you can participate in one of the optional excursions (depends on the day of the week), visit Delphi, or Argolida (Corinth Canal, Mycenae, Epidaurus) or Cape Sunion (temple of Poseidon).
Overnight in Athens.

Day 5:Output

Breakfast and at the indicated time transfer to the airport.
