Day by Day itinerary

Day 1:

We will be waiting at the airport when your plane lands in Cairo to help you with your visa and go through immigration control. We will then drive you to your hotel and take you to lunch at a restaurant in the capital. If you arrive after 9 p.m., instead of dinner, you will receive a cold picnic at the hotel.

Day 2:

After breakfast, we will visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Chephren, the Pyramid of Menkaura and the Sphinx in the famous archaeological complex just outside the city. Feeling immersed in the culture and history of Egypt, the journey will continue to Memphis and Saqqara, the ruins of the original ancient Cairo.

After lunch, we will return to your hotel to relax before enjoying an evening tour of Cairo, admiring the Egyptian capital illuminated by night. This tour includes a stop at the famous Mirror Café. To end the evening, you will have the opportunity to sample the local cuisine in a traditional restaurant.

Day 3:

The third day of our trip will be dedicated to the Saladin Citadel in Cairo, the Alabaster Mosque and the souk market of Khan el-Khalili. In this thousand-year-old maze of street stalls, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of Cairo and its artisan culture, full of jewelry, perfumes and musical instruments.

The tour will then continue to discover the history of Cairo at the Egyptian Museum and the Coptic Quarter, before taking you back to your hotel for the night, your mind filled with images of Cairo.

Day 4:

After breakfast, we will drive to the airport to board a plane to Egypt’s southernmost city, Aswan, known as Siena to the ancient Egyptians, and the place where they quarried the stone for their colossal statues. Once here, you will be taken to the hotel where you will rest until the next day.

Day 5:

On the morning of the fifth day, we will pick you up at the hotel and head to the cruise ship that will take us to explore the Nile.

Our first stop will be at the Philae Temple, located on a beautiful island and known as the Jewel of the Nile. To get to know Aswan in depth, we will head to Abu Simbel, where we will visit the famous Egyptian temples.

In the afternoon, we will return to the ship and spend the night on board.

Day 6:

We will enjoy a delightful sixth day aboard our cruise ship as we cruise down the Nile on our way to Komb Ombo. The tour will disembark at sunset in this beautiful riverside city to explore its historic temple. From the Ptolemaic dynasty, it is unique for its dual design and double dedication, with duplicate rooms dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus.

We will then return to the ship for dinner and relax as we cruise down the Nile to Edfu.

Day 7:

First thing in the morning, we will visit the Temple of Edfu, the second largest in the country and certainly one of the best preserved. With a tour inside one of the main temples dedicated to the god Horus, we will learn about the history and meaning of the enigmatic murals that decorate the walls.

Then, back to the ship, we will pass through the lock and head towards Luxor.

Important: The tour of Edfu will take place in a horse-drawn carriage. If you do not wish to take the tour by horse-drawn carriage, you can inform the guide the day before so that other transportation can be arranged for € 15 (US$ 16.20) per person.

Day 8:

The eighth day of our tour package is dedicated to Luxor, where we will enjoy a full day of activities in what was once known as Thebes, the capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom. Here we will visit Karnak, the Temple of Luxor, the Colossi of Memnon and the Funerary Temple of Hatshepsut. Our last stop will be the world famous Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of almost all the pharaohs of the New Kingdom can be found.

After exploring Luxor, we will drive to Hurghada, where we will settle into our hotel, have dinner and relax.

Day 9:

After an intense day exploring Luxor, you’ll enjoy these twenty-four hours of relaxation in Egypt’s premier beach town, Hurghada. Located on the shores of the Red Sea, you will spend the day relaxing and enjoying the resort facilities.

Day 10:

To complete our visit to Hurghada, we recommend a swim in the Red Sea enjoying the vibrant color of its waters full of corals and marine life.

Day 11:

The last day depends on your international flight schedule. If you depart early from Cairo, we will return early from Hurghada and offer you a continental breakfast or something to take away. Or, if your return flight is in the afternoon, you will not have to get up so early and we will offer you breakfast at the hotel before taking you to Hurghada for your flight to Cairo.
