We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul at the appointed time and cross the intercontinental bridge to Ankara, the capital of the country, located 450 kilometers (279 miles) away.

After a 5 to 7 hour drive, we will arrive at the hotel where we will have dinner and spend the night. Rest up, tomorrow will be a long day!

Day 2:Ankara, Saratli and Cappadocia

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel to start our tour of Turkey’s capital city. During the visit, we will see the most important sites of Ankara, such as the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, with Paleolithic, Neolithic, Hittite, Phrygian and Urartian remains, and the Mausoleum of Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey.

Leaving the capital behind, on our way to Cappadocia, we will stop at Saratli, a subway city built by the local communities to protect themselves from invaders. Saratli still preserves stables, rooms and common rooms…. Isn’t it amazing?

We will arrive in Cappadocia in the late afternoon, where we will have dinner at the hotel.

Day 3:Capadocia

After breakfast, we will depart to explore Cappadocia, Turkey’s most famous region. Rock formations, fairy chimneys and lunar landscapes define the area.

During the tour of Cappadocia, we will visit the Göreme Valley with cave churches and paintings from the 10th and 11th centuries, the village of Uçhisar with its cave houses, the Pasabag Valley, home of the most famous fairy chimneys, and the Derbent Valley, with its curious natural formations and countless handicraft workshops. We will also have the opportunity to visit some of these workshops.

After having enjoyed an incredible day, we will return to the hotel, where we will have dinner.

Day 4:Capadocia

After breakfast, we will conclude this 4-day tour of Cappadocia and say goodbye at the hotel. You will be free to continue exploring the area at your leisure or, if you prefer, you can return on your own to Istanbul or your home town.
