Day by Day itinerary

Day 1:Istanbul - Ankara

You will be picked up at your hotel at the appointed time and board a comfortable bus ready to depart for Ankara, the capital of Turkey, which is 450 kilometers away from Istanbul. One of the highlights of the trip is when the bus crosses the massive Bosphorus Bridge.

After a five-hour drive, we will arrive at your hotel. Enjoy an exquisite dinner at the hotel before going to your room.

Day 2:Ankara, Saratli and Cappadocia

Once you have enjoyed a delicious Turkish breakfast, we will begin a tour of the capital city. The guided tour includes admiring the most important sites of Ankara, including the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which houses numerous collections of Anatolian archaeology. Then, you will visit Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (first President of the Republic of Turkey).

Afterwards, we will leave the capital behind and head to Cappadocia. On the way, we will stop at Saratli, an amazing Underground City founded by Christian communities to protect themselves from attacks by Muslim Arabs. While visiting the well-preserved city, you will stroll through the ancient stables, rooms and public halls.

You will arrive in Cappadocia in the afternoon after a bus ride of approximately three hours. There we will enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 3:Capadocia

Enjoy a healthy breakfast and head out to explore the stunning landscape of Cappadocia, one of Turkey’s most famous regions, filled with impressive rock formations, fairy chimneys and lunar landscapes.

On this guided tour, you will visit Göreme, an area full of houses and churches carved into the sandstone rocks and paintings from the 10th and 11th century. We will then head to visit Uçhisar, a nearby troglodyte village, followed by the Valley of the Monks, home to the most impressive fairy chimneys and the Derbent Valley.

Once you have marveled at the unique landscape of Cappadocia, you will return to your hotel.

Day 4:Pamukkale

Have a delicious breakfast, then leave Cappadocia behind and reach Pamukkale. On the way, we will stop at the Caravanserai of Sultanhan, dating back to the Seleucid period.

In Pamukkale, you will have time to discover the “Cotton Castle” at your own pace. Pamukkale is unique in the world with stalactite waterfalls and natural pools. Swimming is currently not allowed, but you can admire the scenery and take some pictures.

After a busy day, you will return to your hotel where you will enjoy a hearty dinner and spend the night.

Day 5:Ephesus and Ä°zmir

Board the bus in the morning and depart for Ephesus, the city dedicated to Artemis.

Once you arrive in this beautiful city, about four hours away, you will visit the Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celsus, the Agora, the Theater and the Marble Street. You will also visit the House of the Virgin Mary, the last place where the Virgin Mary lived.

On your way to Ä°zmir, we will stop at a leather factory to visit its store.

Upon arrival in Ä°zmir, the third largest city in the country, we will drive to the hotel where we will have lunch and spend the night.

Day 6:Ä°zmir

After breakfast, you will have the whole day to explore Ä°zmir at your own pace.
